Somerset - Blackdown Hills
Buckland Farm Camping
Discover your perfect escape in our beautiful part of Somerset
Buckland Farm Camping is situated at the foot of the beautiful Blackdown Hills, with views to the hills from the site. It is a peaceful meadow campsite, the main source of noise being from an occasional working tractor.
Choose a standard or fenced pitch (all suitable for tent, campervan or caravan), or leave the tent behind and hire one of our furnished bell tents.
Please note that as we are an off grid site, we do not have electric hook-ups, although there is a freezer and ample USB charging points for phones and gadgets.

Included in your pitch fee is the use of .....
- composting loos - 6 loos and 3 urinals around the site
- showers - 3 hot water showers
- hot water sinks for washing up
- three drinking water taps (mains)
- lounge area - bell tent with games, books and information
- picnic area with picnic tables
- freezer for swapping/freezing ice blocks
- charging facilities for phones, small gadgets etc
- five acres of space (with only 15 pitches)
- enclosed paddock for off lead exercise for dogs
- a small number of dog crates are available to borrow
Firepits are available to hire, and logs available to buy

One member of your party (one person per pitch) must be a member of the Greener Camping Club to comply with our council's regulation (you can join when you book).
By booking with us (or any other GCC site) you are booking a safe, regulated campsite that cares about the environment. We are inspected annually, and passed our inspection this year with no points needing attention.
For each member that is joined up to the Greener Camping Club through Buckland Farm Camping, we are awarded a tree which is planted and nurtured on the farm.
