Absolutely loved our stay at your wonderful farm, the site is perfect, spacious, relaxed and welcoming, we will definitely be returning and was well worth the long drive from Cumbria. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful

Alice, Sept 2023

Super eco-friendly, clean, quiet.

Mhairi,  Sept 2023

A really lovely little eco campsite. Amazingly quiet for being so close to major traffic hubs. The site is well organised and run.  Compost loos are some of the best we have used and the hosts were super helpful. It’s also really dog friendly. We had one of the fenced pitches meaning our pack could be off the lead and not escape which made it very relaxing

Debbie, Sept 2023

Fantastic campsite, we had a fenced pitch for our dogs and it was great not worrying about them when setting up, and they didn’t have to be tethered.
Carol was very welcoming and warm and on call if needed.
Site was well kept and spaced out nicely.
Enjoyed it that we are all booked for next year and for longer.
Thank you!

Claire, Sept 2023

We had a great, very chilled out week at Buckland Farm Camping. Beautiful site, nice and quite, we had a fenced pitch which was great for our two dogs, as was the excerise field. Good facilities with toilet and hot showers. Beautiful local walks and an amazing little store in Trull 'Sarah's Kitchen' worth the walk as is the Milk Shed. Highly recommended
Some great local walks,beautiful scenery

Karen, Sept 2023

Lots of space around site which made life easy with my dog.  Toilets, Showers etc all kept clean.  An enjoyable stay

Theresa, Sept 2023

Absolute gem for those with multiple dogs. Nice central location with easy access to motorway & the South West
Great base to explore from & so eco-friendly.

Jenny, Sept 2023

Fantastic place to stay and chill

Joshua, August 2023

Spacious pitches, friendly atmosphere, beautiful scenery. Lots of lovely local walks too.

Jacqui, August 2023

I was welcomed onto the site, and was shown how to use the compost loos which were spotlessly clean. No electric on the site, but a place to charge phones was available. There were two pitches fenced off, so if you have young children and/or a dog, they would have a safe space to play outside the tent or camper van without wandering off. I was told there was a tent filled with activities to keep children occupied, but I was only passing through. One thing sticks out though, as there were no lights on the site, the stars in the night sky were exceptionally bright. A lovely natural place to stay. I will definitely be back.

Jessica, August 2023

Lovely campsite! Would definitely go again! Had lovely clean showers, washing up area and toilets.

Nicola, August 2023

Beautiful setting with lovely facilities. Hosts were super helpful and friendly. We booked a pitch with a dog fenced area which was perfect for the kids and dog. Massive pitch for the van and awning and lots of space for everyone to play. Highly recommend, more places should offer this! Campsite was quiet and had good access to local area.
Ruxtons in Wellington was well worth a visit for ice cream and pizza!

Victoria, August 2023

Carol was lovely and welcoming. The pitches are a great size and all well spaced out. It’s rustic but that’s how camping should be! Sheppy’s Cider Farm just down the road is well worth a visit, the steak pies were amazing!

Vicky, August 2023

This is our second stay at Buckland Farm Camping. It’s such a beautiful and peaceful location we have already booked for next year. The 2 secure dog pitches are brilliant as is the secure freedom field. The owner is lovely and we will be back.
Loads of lovely walks on multiple paths direct from site - still more we want to explore.

Leanne, August 2023

We hired a Land Rover Camper van locally and stayed at this campsite for one night to celebrate our son's 18th Birthday at the weekend. Carol was extremely accommodating and friendly. We loved the way that the pitches have been laid out and the location was perfect.
The composting loo was actually a lot better than I anticipated with clear instructions to follow.
I would highly recommend this campsite.

Sam, August 2023

Safety: A lovely quiet site which was ideal for children and dogs - we had a dog pitch which was real peace of mind for bringing our rescue away!

Karen, August 2023

What a wonderful place! We had a fantastic 2 weeks staying at Buckland farm campsite. The pitches are beautifully manicured , mown grass set amongst longer grasses giving both a feeling of privacy and we are convinced damping what is already minimal noise as a bonus. Carol and Richard were lovely ,giving the perfect balance of allowing you your space but frequently present should you need them. For those with dogs it’s as perfect as you can get. Only 15 pitches on a 5 acre site. With a handy secure walking field for a stress free and quick fix bit of exercise. We found some smashing local walks and plenty of options for shopping just a short drive into Wellington. We will be back without a doubt and look forward to more adventures in beautiful Somerset whilst basing ourselves at the wonderful Buckland farm.

Sarah, August 2023

We had a fantastic stay despite the horrendous weather.  Great amenities and a fantastic communal bell tent area.  Lovely helpful owner.  Spacious pitches.

Donna, August 2023

Beautiful campsite with really helpful owners. Clean toilets/showers and washing up. Lovely central tent which was used when it rained. We’ve been camping for years and this is one of nicest sites we have stayed at. We will be coming back!

Ruby, August 2023

Beautiful Campsite with lovely owners!  Facilities were fantastic and they’d well thought out the organisation of the campsite!  Would love to return!

David, August 2023

Beautiful quiet campsite at the foot of the Blackdown Hills on a working farm with wonderful views. Large pitches cut in amongst the meadow grasses, composting loos, showers and solar powered shed for USB charging. All very low impact and green. They also had two pitches that were fully enclosed with wire fencing, which were occupied by dog owners and their vans, such a great idea.

David,  August 2023

Fabulous “green” campsite with everything you need for a wind-down break.  Beautiful walks on the Blackdown Hills.

Jane, August 2023

This is a lovely site in the Greener Camping club. The pitches are well spaced, facilities tidy and owner Carol was very friendly.

Ian, August 2023

At last! A campsite that doesn’t make you feel like you’re battling for space. Despite awful weather, we enjoyed the convenience of being close to the motorway (without knowing it was there), the peaceful and relaxing site surrounded by hills and greenery. A very relaxing feel to the whole place.

Claire, July 2023

A lovely dog-friendly site in a brilliant location, convenient for the M5 and to travel around the area with ease. Facilities were just what are needed and the fenced pitches are a brilliant idea for anyone with a dog. Loads of room and everyone spread out, there was nothing to dislike at all. A fenced pitch and fenced exercise paddock meant my dogs were so very happy. I will not hesitate in coming back!

Slawomir, July 2023

Very good site.  Quiet, well kept place.  I would like to visit again

Ruth, July 2023

Had a lovely weekend.Great site with amenities and beautiful location. The hosts are very easy to talk to. Highly recommended.

Clare, July 2023

Wonderful campsite and very easy to get to! Peaceful, friendly and REALLY spacious. The pitches are mown but the rest is left to grow which really makes it feel like you’re in a meadow. Our son made friends with a little girl who was camping next door and it was beautiful watching them play together. Campfires are allowed/supplied and there’s phone charging points. A solar powered freezer is in a sun house which you can use to re freeze your ice packs. On the Saturday we ventured to Charmouth but in all honesty, we could have stayed on site all weekend! Our dog loved it too. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Clare, July 2023

Lovely walks in area.  Various pubs in area lovely place.  Wild camping no electric.  Compost loos and fab showers

MCR July 2023

We booked last minute on the day of our stay for just one night. It was very easey to do online. Its semi self serve you just turn up and pick a pitch and then someone comes round later just check your booking. It is just a field which is well kept and quiet, exactly what we wanted. There is toilet, shower and washing up facilities. The unique selling point of this place is the dog park. Very friendly service.

Sushie, July 2023

BFC is in a beautiful, peaceful location. The site is spacious and the facilities lovely, well made and clean. The compost toilets are great. Individual welcome from the owner was very thoughtful.

Stig, July 2023

Had a relaxing stay on the Farm, particularly enjoyed first thing in the morning sat down with a cup of tea looking out at the wooded hillside a mile or so away with nothing between us but green fields and hedgerows.

Jackie, July 2023

Lovely campsite with friendly and helpful owners. Lots of extra touches like firepits to rent, a games tepee, dog exercise area and two plots that are fenced in for pets.

David, June 2023

Great dog friendly campsite with all amenities.  Nice hot showers, recharging points and freezer, dog exercise area and private pitches.

Nigel, June 2023

A very pleasant open field. Several composting toilets and great hot water showers and pot washing.  We were surprised to find a communal tipi for shelter and as a games room. Fresh eggs to purchase for breakfast. There is a separate building where there are 6 USB charging points and a chest freezer.  Overall a very nice camping experience and highly recommended.

Andrew, June 2023

Great campsite for dogs. There's an off-lead enclosure and you can book a pitch that has a fence round it so the dog can be off lead on the actual pitch! I booked one of those. I've never seen this anywhere else and it certainly made for a much more relaxed stay with the dog. The site itself is quite large, but with only a few pitches that are well spaced out. Hot showers, hot water for washing up, toilets - all very clean, pleasant and there are enough of them. There's very little noise on the site apart from the distant sound of the M5, which you don't really notice much. I did a dog walk from the site to Buckland Wood - about 15 mins walk from the site. I also drove 15 mins to another walk at Culmstock Beacon. Both walks were great dog walks. Would definitely recommend this campsite if camping with a dog. Would also be good for those camping with small children as there's lots of space to run around or for those looking for a peaceful campsite. Lots of countryside walks from campsite and a short drive away.
Walkable to nice countryside - good for dogs and walkers. Not much in the way of other facilities (pubs, etc) within walking distance.
No electric hook up (but do you really need it?).

Dylan, June 2023

We only spent one night at Buckland and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Excellent facilities, huge amount of space between pitches and friendly hosts. Highly recommended to others.

Karen, May 2023

We only stayed for 1 night at Buckland Farm but would have loved to stay longer. Lovely vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Pitches are spacious with plenty of room for awnings or pup tents. The bell tent is a great addition, offering games, books and a few supplies like fire pits, locally made dog treats etc for a small additional fee. Having the Dog paddock is also a great idea. Clean facilities and well cared for site. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Rachel, May 2023

Would highly recommend Buckland Farm Camping, particularly for anyone travelling with a dog. We stayed in a fenced pitch which was perfect and meant our dog didn’t need to be tethered. The facilities were basic but all very clean, and the dog exercise field was great too. Easily accessible from the M5 and not far from Wellington, but still a beautiful rural spot. Thanks for a great stay and we look forward to returning soon!

Rebecca, May 2023

Lovely quiet campsite. Beautiful scenery. Clean facilities, warm showers. Very dog and child friendly. Pitch sizes huge!

Becky, May 2023

Stunning location, beautiful field. Brilliant hosts, lovely little touches, didn’t want to leave but will be back!

Paige, May 2023

Such a gorgeous camping site. We booked the fenced in area because we had dogs, we only booked last minute and Carol sorted this for us. It’s such a fantastic addition to have if you have dogs or even small children so they have space to run around freely. The facilities were also Fantastic. We loved the bell tent with all the extra little things you can borrow & buy. We can’t wait to come back and we’re so sad to leave. Thank you so much again.  Safety in the fenced off area was great. Lots of lovely walks nearby

Joey, May 2023

Joey May 23. Wow what an amazing spot. Can’t believe you are close to a major motorway and couldn’t hear a thing. Brilliant facilities and friendly helpful owners. Would definitely recommend taking bikes or scooters if you wish to explore or go to the local pub as no cabs were available but not the owners fault. Again amazing spot and beautiful atmosphere 👍

Becky, May 2023

Loved the simplicity of the site, loved the extra mile the hosts had gone to with the charging points and freezer, books and games etc. Beautiful surroundings. Little bit of heaven!

Matt, May 2023

Excellent site with everything you'd need and some nice little bonuses.
