FENCED PITCHES
We will be adding another fenced pitch for 2024 - our guests really enjoy these pitches.
The pitches are fenced to 5ft, with a drive-through 10ft gate, which opens outwards, so that you do not need to allow 'gate swing' room on your pitch. As with all our pitches, they are large pitches (these are around 12 x 15 metres). The fencing is foal netting - with 2 inch wide mesh, which is high tensiled (rigid), so that small noses cannot push through.
Dogs can run free on these pitches without a tether. Of course, the lead-on rule applies to the rest of the site (see 'around the site' below)
OFF LEAD EXERCISE AREA
An area for your dogs to zoom, sniff, play, train ... do what they like - just being dogs!
Our guests love this area, being able to let their dogs have a run without having to leave the site.
This area is mown, but with longer grass in some areas for your dogs to explore and sniff.
AROUND THE SITE ...
- For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, unless in the off-lead area, or a fenced pitch, your dog needs to be on lead.
- Please pick up after your dog. We encourage you to use compostable poo bags, and these are available to buy.
- We are happy for you to put up fencing on your pitch so that your dogs can stretch their legs. This must be secure, and dogs must not be left unattended in 'gardens'.
- We have a few cages/crates that can be borrowed - sometimes this makes travel/packing easier. Message me though, as numbers and sizes are limited.
